Waveney Valley member Mark Nussey took part in the first ever Spartan Beast race in this country at Brands Hatch. This is a 20k tough race , starting on the track and going out into the countryside. 50 plus obstacles, including water obstacles, tractor tyre flips, rope climbs, barbed wire crawls, ice pits, wall climbs. Mark finished in under 2 hrs 15 minutes.
