The Heveningham Hall multi-terrain race took place last Sunday in extremely hot temperatures. Part of the course went through a forest but even in the shade of the trees there was no escape from the heat.
Three Waveney Valley Athletic Club members competed with Ailsa MacDonald a prize winner as second lady to finish in a time of 48:56. In the veterans mens category Richard Aukland took third prize finishing in 43:38 while Wayne Freeman was 6th in 47:00.
