Waveney Valley Athletic Club members took part in the third and final race in the Great Yarmouth promenade 5 mile series and finished on a real high as a record sixteen members competed with a dozen setting personal best times.
Particularly successful over the series was Ailsa McDonald who, in addition to recording p.b’s, won two second place trophies and bagged the series prize also for finishing top over the three races in the Senior Ladies category.
Personal bests were also achieved in race three by Jon Comyn, Mark Nussey, Richard Aukland, Philip Lane, Wayne Freeman, Steve Gibbs, David Mower, Joe Mayne, Stuart Smith, James Gooch and Michaela Gooch.
