Waveney Valley Athletic Club (WVAC) was formed in 1996 and continues as a friendly club for athletes, road runners and cross country runners in the Lowestoft, Beccles and Waveney area.
We offer training and support for beginners and experienced athletes alike. Our training sessions are ideally placed for budding athletes in the Lowestoft and Waveney area. We welcome new members to either our senior road runners section orto our junior athletics section.
We have a strong and dedicated junior athletics section offering training and competition for juniors (8-16 years, competitions start at age 9).
WVAC organises and hosts three races for road runners each year; the annual Turkey Trot in December (10miles), the Mutford Relays in the summer (5km) and the Lowestoft Scores Race.
